CAMPAIGN FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT
Nearly 37 million people in the United States live below the poverty line, and 13 million of those are children. The Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) works to create lasting solutions to the problem of poverty through real community change. BOOK SIGNING
Sunday, Nov. 16, Josh Little will be in the Social Hall signing copies of his book, “Finger People Prelude.” Copies of the book will be available for $10.00. THE STAR COUNCIL AWARD is the highest distinction available to a local Knights of Columbus Council for the 2007-2008 fraternal year. Four councils in the state of Tennessee were awarded Double Star Council Awards and St. Christopher’s Council 8241 was one of those Councils. Congratulations guys! Way to go!

Overbrook School will hold an Open House for Parents Nov. 19, 2008 from 9:15 - 11:00 am. The open house features a short information session followed by classroom observations and guided tours. Overbrook School is in session during the event so parents can observe a regular day at Overbrook. Overbrook is accepting applications for the 2009-2010 school year.
